Systematic review

How we can help

How we can help

Your Academic Librarians can support you with some aspects of systematic review.

We can offer support and guidance to:

  • Develop your search terms
  • Select appropriate databases to use
  • Search databases effectively
  • Manage your results with RefWorks
  • Understand and describe search methods (including the PRISMA flow diagram)

We cannot offer:

  • Literature searches carried out on your behalf
  • Evaluation/peer review of a final search strategy
  • Checking for errors or inconsistencies in translating a search across multiple databases
  • Help to analyse or synthesise results
